In&nbsp;depth&nbsp;knowledge&nbsp;of&nbsp;GIS&nbsp;software,&nbsp;with&nbsp;exposure&nbsp;to&nbsp;exploration&nbsp;geostatistical&nbsp;packages.&nbsp;The Exploration Geologist role will be employed on a full-time basis.&nbsp;Candidates&nbsp;must&nbsp;meet&nbsp;our&nbsp;pre-employment&nbsp;criteria&nbsp;which&nbsp;includes&nbsp;a&nbsp;medical,&nbsp;drug&nbsp;and&nbsp;alcohol&nbsp;screening,&nbsp;and&nbsp;valid&nbsp;National&nbsp;PoliceClearance.&nbsp;Must&nbsp;be&nbsp;able&nbsp;to&nbsp;demonstrate&nbsp;the&nbsp;ability&nbsp;to&nbsp;work in&nbsp;Australia.Duties will include:<ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li>Preparing exploration and development work programs and associated budgets.&nbsp;</li><li>Formulate exploration models using mineral systems concepts.</li><li>Compile and evaluate geoscientific data including all types of surface and drilling samples, remote sensing, geophysical and geochemical data.</li><li>Preparing&nbsp;Statutory&nbsp;reports&nbsp;to&nbsp;LGIRS.</li><li>Geological logging and management of core processing facilities</li><li>Exploration&nbsp;data&nbsp;interpretation.</li><li>Analysis&nbsp;and&nbsp;validation&nbsp;/QAQC&nbsp;reporting.</li><li>Assist&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;supervision of&nbsp;on-site&nbsp;contractors.</li><li>Otherancillary&nbsp;duties&nbsp;as&nbsp;and&nbsp;when&nbsp;required.</li><li>Management of junior geologists and field assistants</li><li>Assist in tenement reporting and administration.&nbsp;</li></ul>&nbsp;

Exploration Geologist

The responsibilities of the role will include:<ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li>Manage geological and geochemical programmes; geological logging; geological interpretation; ensure data and sampling quality is maintained. Ensure drilling and geophysical data collection is completed to appropriate standards and is cost effective;</li><li>Ensure that all personnel working under the ultimate direction of the Geologist are supervised and receive adequate instruction;</li><li>Submit daily and weekly reports to meet the required quality, content and timing;</li><li>Maintain an organised electronic and paper filing system and ensure an auditable trail;</li><li>Maintain regular communication and feedback with client;</li><li>Assist in the development of exploration and drilling programmes;</li><li>Conduct geological and geotechnical logging of core and RC chips;</li><li>Maintain programs to ensure that accurate records and&nbsp;information systems are established for critical geological data;</li><li>Attention to detail in all aspects of the role.</li></ul>&nbsp;To be successful you will need:<ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li>A minimum of 2&nbsp;years of mining/oil and gas industry experience.</li><li>Formally qualified in a geology discipline, minimum BSc</li><li>Demonstrate competency in geological processes</li><li>Have had exposure to the following disciplines: geotechnical and geophysics field data collection</li><li>Experience in the Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia</li><li>Advantage to speak French or Italian</li><li>Prepared to live in Kalgoorlie (mandatory)</li></ul>

We are seeking a skilled Hydrocarbons Technician - Mechanical to join our experienced team of technicians, based at our Port Hedland branch. Ideally living in Port Hedland, you must possess a strong customer and safety focus, be committed to consistently delivering high quality work and a desire to be part of a high performing team.
